The Council for Leather Exports of India (CLE) in association with the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) and with the support of Embassy of India in Lima is organizing a Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) on October 26, 2018 at Hotel Meliá, San Isidro, Lima.

India is the second largest producer of footwear and leather garments in the world and caters to demand for quality products to countries like USA, Germany, UK, Italy, France, Hong Kong, Spain, Netherlands, China, Denmark, UAE and Belgium.  These countries together account for nearly 75% of India´s total leather and leather products exports.

This is the third time that CLE is bringing a business delegation to Lima since 2015.  The products on display would be high quality leather skins, jackets, wallets, purses, shoes, industrial gloves, belts, etc.    Many meetings with Peruvian importers have been lined up throughout the day to discuss potential business and further enhance the bilateral trade and cooperation in this vital sector.

The Peruvian buyers are invited to use this opportunity for procuring quality leather products to meet demands of not only Peru but the entire region.  Since Peru also have a vibrant leather industry, the two sides can come together to form a mutually beneficial relationship and enhance cooperation in this dynamic sector.
