Guidelines for International Arrival’ dated 22nd Decemvber 2022 issued by MOHFW

Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has issued ‘Guidelines for International Arrivals’ in context of COVID-19 pandemic and updated the same from time to time. The present guidelines are being revised in light of
increasing trajectory of COVID-19 cases being noted in some countries across the world.

These new guidelines provides protocols to be complied by international travellers as well as points of entry (airports, seaports and land border) and shall be valid w.e.f. 24th December 2022 (10.00 Hrs IST) till further orders.

With effect from 1000 Hrs (IST) on January 1, 2023, passengers travelling from certain high-risk countries - China (incl HK), RoK, Japan, Singapore and Thailand need to fill the self-declaration form and upload negative RT-PCR test result (taken within 72 hours of travel from these countries) on the Air Subidha Portal. MoHFW has clarified that this requirement will also apply to transiting passengers through these countries.
