India Week - Virtual Narration of Quit India Movement

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations under #IndiaWeek, Embassy of India, Lima in collaboration with Indian Council for Cultural Relations, organised a virtual narration of ‘Quit India Movement’, a landmark in Indian Freedom Struggle by Dr. Shobhana Radhakrishna, an internationally acclaimed speaker on Mahatma Gandhi. On August 8, 1942, the Quit India Movement was launched by Mahatma Gandhi, during World War II. The movement also known as the August Movement demanded an end to British rule in India.
