As part of celebration of 8th International Day of Yoga (IDY) under the umbrella of AmritMahotsav celebrations, Embassy of India, Lima organised the main event of IDY in Bolivia at an iconic venue, Parque de las Culturas y de la Madre Tierra, at La Paz, in Bolivia. The event was the main event among several events organised by the Embassy to celebrate the 8th International Day of Yoga in Bolivia. Including Dignitaries, Yoga enthusiasts, practitioners, experts, participated in the event. The Yoga professionals demonstrated the benefits of practicing Yoga and invited people to embrace Yoga for mental and physical wellbeing. The event upheld the spirit of Yoga for Humanity, which is the theme for the celebration of International Day of Yoga for 2022. The event also featured performances of Indian classical dance. Overall, the event gained a lot of traction among locals and helped in raising of awareness about Yoga.
