Celebration of National Unity Day by Embassy of India, Lima

Mode of Event: Physical and Virtual

Embassy of India celebrated National Unity Day 2022 with the following events:

  1. Screening of Documentary on the life and achievements of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Mission´s social media pages
  2. Unity Run event was held, wherein Indian community & friends of India joined the 'Run for Unity'
  3. A virtual talk on “Sardar Vallabhai Patel - A Supreme Leader with Exemplary Qualities" was run on Mission´s Social Media page
  4. A pledge for integrity and unity, was taken by all India based officers / officials.
  5. A Yoga for Unity event was organised which highlighted the concept and philosophy of Yoga as a means of unity.
  6. Floral tributes were paid to the Sardar Patel by Dignitaries.
  7. Sardar Patel´s life, vision, will power and great contribution to the unity of India were remembered with a projection of a video in Chancery 
  8. An exhibition titled "Sardar Patel The Architect of Unification" was held in the Embassy
  9. 'United Over Tea' event held at Chancery premises which involved active exchange of views on unity
